London day 2

It was drizzling when I woke up today.  I took the bus down to Kensington South and checked out the Natural History Museum.

It was huge and the set where they filmed night at the museum. I went on a guided tour which took me inside their underground specimens vaults and I got to see some of the original specimen collected by Charles Darwin himself.  The other notable exhibits were the earthquake simulator and the special story exhibit which really explained each item in detail.  They had the most expensive book in the world as well as an original first edition of On the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin.

I also checked out the Victoria and Albert museum. This was the most interesting museum for me so far in London.  Their fashion and extravagance temporary exhibitions were really interesting.

Finally I checked out Hyde Park by bicycle again.  The parks here are nice but not anywhere near the level of North American parks.  They don't allow you to do many things such as ride your bike in certain areas.  Also it is just a lot of grass and not much variety in terms of vegetation.

In the evening my friend Adam made some scones and we saw the newest episode of game of thrones!
Haha episode 6 is amazing!

Imperial War Museum. Most interesting museum for me so far in London. Especially the Holocaust and WWI exhibits. Almost made me miss my bus and flight!

shitty UK weather once again

Peace from London.
