And we are back kiddies.
In the morning I took the Blablacar to Edinburgh with Steven. Unfortunately Nicky and Daniel were still asleep so I just left them a note. It looks like they been cleaning the whole night in their hyper state. The the house looks much cleaner than even yesterday.
Usually I write my blogs on the long rides but I had such a good time talking to Steven that I didn't even have the time for that. Steven is an oil rig contractor who works in Azerbaijan. He used to be in the military and was even deployed in Canada Medicine hat for training. He has been living in Liverpool for the past 14 year. Of course there are much more details about his story like his divorce, starting from zero again, and his children and grandmother.
When we finally arrived in Liverpool I took the train into the city center and checked into a hostel. Liverpool is the only city on this trip where I am paying for lodging. Let's hope it stays this way because my budget just took a 40 pound hit for two nights.
After I dropped off my stuff I walked to the commercial district so I could find a quick dry towel. Ever since Chandan my Mauritius couchsurfer host I have been with out a towel. Finishing my primary task I walked along the boulevard and saw a performer named Jamie Harrison. He is an amazing musician and has such a lovely voice. Definitely the best musician I have seen so far playing on the side of a road. I literally stood there and watched for 2 hours. If you don't believe me search him up on youtube. He is going to be big I am calling it right now!
I also saw another musician doing beat boxing and one guy started to dance (poorly I might add). Then he started to challenge me as I was close to the beatboxer. So I did my thing of course and showed him how it is done to the Cheers of the crowd.
I also met a couple of interesting people from my hostel. Including two french, 2 German and 1 Irish bloke who offered me some c just now to which I politely declined haha.
This has been a very interesting day like everyday.
Update: It looks like the guy who said he was here with a stag party was lying. Cause I went to his room when all his friends are asleep. We woke them up cause I thought they were here on Stag but it turns out they don't even know him haha. So I can add being an asshole to my many accomplishments :D
