Departing Osaka

We are departing today on the JR railway line after spending almost a week in Osaka.  I haven't really written anything about Osaka yet so this will be the giant update of our time here.

The hostel we stayed at had free bike rentals.  Yesterday we took full advantage of them and biked around Osaka.  We checked out the Osaka castle at night time.  Randomly came upon a concert of the jazz group Ego Wrapping and saw a bit of that.  Because of the typhoon that was approaching the castle inner grounds was closed off. That didn't deters us though.  We climbed onto the ticketing office rooftop and got inside by scaling the tiled roof -  ninja style.  Once we got in we chilled at the top for a bit when suddenly the door to the castle opened and a security guard stopped our fun.

We also biked to the Umeda Sky Garden -  the tallest building in Osaka.  We saw a great view of the city. Osaka as a city is really flat and great for biking overall.

The day prior to our ninja adventures we went to the baseball game at Osaka dome.  Similar to Korea the crowds were more interesting to watch than the actual baseball game.  There was specific chants for each player and when our team scored thousands of balloons filled the air.
There were a lot more things that happened in Osaka but I simply can't remember them right now.  I will update with more as my memory returns.
