First time flying an airplane

I flew my first airplane yesterday, well sort of. It was a 2 seater plane and I flew it with the guidance of an instructor on board. I did take off and in the air piloting and the instructor landed the plane.

I had bought a groupon for the lesson which was 45 minutes. Piloting the plane was easier than I thought probably because I didn't have to control any of the knobs and levers, I had control of the steering column and the rudders. It was just like driving a car except there are two pedals for turning left and right as opposed to a brake.
