Thailand is famous for many things, one of which are the Thai massages. I have been putting it off for a while now because they are infamous for being painful. And I am allergic to pain. But since I am about to leave Thailand for good, I thought I should check this one off.
So after some light ab workouts and a 4k run. I popped into Bee massage, one of the more well know massage places here in Phuket. It was recommended to me by the other students here at camp. The attractive point about Bee massage was that they were suppose to cater to your will - as in go softer if you asked for it.
But unfortunately for my body, their definition of soft and mine are as incongruous as black and white.
This was by far the most amount of pain I have experienced in Thailand since I began my training. But I gotta say, it's been about four hours now since the massage and my body feels way better. Whether that is a result of the Thai massage or simply my body returning to the normalcy after that painful ordeal, only time will tell.
Next up on bucketlist: elephant trek and scuba diving (if I don't chicken out).
Peace from Phuket.
